Hi Sharks...Below is our weekly news.

June 23-28 Schedule & Deadlines

  • Monday through Thursday are normal practices this week. This Friday, June 27, will be Team Pictures and Pancakes. Please reference my email from yesterday or click here for more details.
  • Please declare – let us know whether or not your child is available to swim – for this week’s meets (click here for instructions):
  • For our Wednesday B Meet: Declare by Monday, June 23, at 8 pm
  • For our Saturday A Meet: Declare by Thursday, June 26, at 2 pm
  • We are hosting both of this week’s meets at home and will need helping hands for set up and break down. If you are available to help with either meet, please email [email protected].
  • Our second week of flip-turn and dive clinics will take place on Tuesday and Thursday from 7 – 7:30 am and 10:30 – 11 am. Each clinic will be limited to 12 slots. Please sign up if your child is interested in attending one of this week’s sessions.

Be on the Lookout

  • We will be distributing all spiritwear and swimmer t-shirts this week at practices.
  • As many of our swimmers know, ribbons are awarded at both A and B meets. After your child swims in a meet, please encourage them to check their swimmer folder (organized alphabetically in the file boxes by the kick board storage bin on the pool deck) and collect any ribbons they earned. The folders are usually updated a few days after each meet.

  • Wednesday, June 25: Developmental ‘B’ Meet vs. Arlington Knights of Columbus (Home), 6pm
  • Friday, June 27: Team Picture & Pancakes
  • Saturday, June 28: ‘A' Meet vs Franklin Glen (Home), 8 am
  • Monday, June 30: Sweet Treat Social, 6:30 pm

Mid-Season Mentions

  • We value your feedback and would appreciate your thoughts on how this season is going so far. Please take this survey.
  • Meredith (Treasurer), Gina (VP of Operations), and I (Team Rep) are passing the torch to new volunteers at the end of this season. If you are interested in stepping into one of these roles – or sharing it with a buddy! – please let us know ASAP. We are hoping to work closely with the incoming Board for the rest of this season to ensure a smooth transition for 2026 planning.
