Coaches and Board of Directors
Colby Lane has been a Hayden Village Villain since age 6 and has been coaching for the team since 2022. Colby began club swimming with NCAP in 6th grade and also swam for Fairfax High School for four years. Currently, Colby is a Division 1 swimmer at George Mason University. He has loved every moment of his summer swim seasons with the Villains and he is looking forward to a fun summer season again this year!
Ian Rodgers is excited to be joining the coaching staff of the Hayden Village Villains! Ian is from Newport News, Virginia, where he started swimming at the age of 6. He grew up swimming on the Coast Guard Blue Dolphins club team and Colony Cudas summer swim team, where he also lifeguarded for many summers. Ian now swims at George Mason University and is looking forward to the upcoming summer swim season at Hayden Village!
Allie Witdoeckt joined the Villains as a swimmer and assistant coach in 2023. Allie has been swimming since the age of 6 and swam with NCAP after moving to the area in 2022. She went to Trinity Christian School where she was captain of the high school swim team, and she is now swimming at the University of Pittsburgh. Allie had such a fun time last season with the Villains and is super excited to be returning to Hayden Village as a coach this summer!
Gavin Shultz has been a Hayden Village Villain since the age of 7 and he has been coaching for the Junior Villains since he was 12. Gavin will be attending Christopher Newport University in the fall of 2025. He is excited to support and guide the team's younger swimmers throughout the season!
Lynda Falkenstein is the coach of our newest swimmers, the Mini-Fins. Lynda has been involved with the Hayden Village Villains since the summer of 2015, with two children on the swim team. She is a teacher during the year and enjoys helping children learn. While Lynda was never on a swim team herself, she is an avid water person and enjoys being a part of this great group.
