Greenview Dolphins Swim Team

Parents must agree to a 9-month (September-May) TEAM CONTRACT with an annual fee based on swimmers’ practice group to join the Greenview Dolphins USA year-round swim team program. If you stop swimming year-round, you must pay the remaining balance.

USA Swimming and Greenview Dolphins Membership

All Swimming members must become Greenview Dolphins members, and USA Swimming registers members to participate on the year-round swim team. 

Charles R. Drew Wellness Center Membership

All year-round Greenview Dolphins members must be Charles R. Drew Wellness Center members to participate on the year-round swim team. The Charles Drew Wellness Center offers individual membership or family membership. Call the Wellness Center at (803) 545-3200 or stop by the front for membership information.

USA Swimming Membership Fee and Greenview Team Registration Fee

Each family must create an account on the Greenview Dolphins website. Once the account has been created, each swimmer must be registered for the 2023-2024 swim season.              

   * The registration processing fee per swimmer is $75. 

*PREMIUM $100.00 (Annual membership until December 31, 2024)

*FLEX $30.00 (These members will be allowed to participate in only two swim meets during the swim seasons.

*OUTREACH $ 7.00 (Qualifying families may receive a fee reduction. A copy of your IRS Tax returns must be submitted to qualify. Family qualifying income for the 2023 -2024 Outreach program is at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Income Guideline. See Greenview Dolphin’s website for more details under “Swim Team Program.”.

ALL families must maintain a Charles R. Drew Wellness membership.

USA Swimming Membership Registration and Payment

Parents will be given a registration link to register their child or children for USA Swimming membership once they have completed their Greenview Dolphins membership.

                                     Swim Team Guidelines

Respect teammates, Parents, and Coaches, support team events, and encourage teammates at practices and swim meets.

Swimmers are expected to be on time for swim practice and swim meets. 

Maintain a positive attitude: Be a good sport; whether we win or lose, refrain from being disruptive or using inappropriate language.

When practice is over, swimmers must exit and clean up before leaving the pool deck. We are guests at Charles R. Drew Wellness Pool.

All Swimmers and Parents

must follow all Charles R. Drew Wellness Pool and Facility Rules and Guidelines. 

Parents cannot stay on the pool deck during practice.

Practice Location: Charles R. Drew Wellness Center Pool, 2101 Walker Solomon Way, Columbia, SC, 29204, Ph. (803) 545-3200

Senior Group I, II, III: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Friday 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. Saturday & Sunday NO PRACTICE or TBA

Group III-Developmental: Monday – Thursday 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Friday NO SWIM PRACTICE, Saturday 10:00 TO 10:50 AM

Group IV: Tuesday & Thursday 6:30 to 7:30 PM, Friday NO SWIM PRACTICE,  Saturday 10:00 to 10:50 AM.
