USA Swimming and Greenview Dolphins Membership

All year-round team members must be members of both the Greenview Dolphins and USA Swimming.

Charles R. Drew Wellness Center Membership

All Greenview Dolphins year-round team members must be members of the Charles R. Drew Wellness Center to participate on the year-round swim team. The Charles Drew Wellness Center offers individual and family memberships. Call the Wellness Center at (803) 545-3200 or stop by the front desk for membership information. ALL families must maintain a Charles R. Drew Wellness membership.

USA Swimming Membership Registration and Payment

Once their Greenview Dolphins membership has been completed, parents will be sent a registration link to register their child or children for USA Swimming membership.

  Swim Team Guidelines

Respect teammates, Parents, and Coaches, support team events, and encourage teammates at practices and swim meets.

Swimmers are expected to be on time for swim practice and swim meets. 

Maintain a positive attitude. Be a good sport. Whether we win or lose, refrain from being disruptive or using inappropriate language.

When practice is over, swimmers must exit the pool and clean up their area before leaving the pool deck. We are guests at Charles R. Drew Wellness Pool.

All Swimmers and Parents must follow Charles R. Drew Wellness Pool and Facility Rules and Guidelines. 

Parents cannot stay on the pool deck during practice. 

 

Greenview Dolphins USA Swim Team Practice Schedule

 

Practice Location: Charles R. Drew Wellness Center Pool, 2101 Walker Solomon Way, Columbia, SC, 29204, Ph. (803) 545-3200

Group I, II, III:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 5:30 – 7:30 PM. 

Wednesday and Friday 5:30 AM - 6:45 AM and/or 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. 

Saturday & Sunday NO PRACTICE or TBA

Group III-Developmental:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. 

Wednesday and Friday, NO SWIM PRACTICE,

Saturday 10:00 to 10:50 AM

Group IV:

Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 to 7:30 PM;

Wednesday and Friday, NO SWIM PRACTICE;                     

Saturday, 10:00 to 10:50 AM.

 

Team Weather Policy

Coaches will be at the pool in good or bad weather. If it is bad weather, each family decides to participate in swim practice. If the pool is closed for the rest of the day, coaches will notify families and cancel swim practice.
