WARM UPS

No swimmer will be permitted to participate in pre-meet warm-ups without the presence of a coach from their team to supervise.

All warm-ups will be open format with lanes 1 and 5 for starts and sprints, only one direction.
*11/12 swimmers may swim at either time slot

Saturday, June 28, 2025:
7:30-7:55 am: *Ages 11-18
7:55-8:20 am: *Ages 9-12
8:20-8:45 am: Ages 8 & under

Sunday, June 29, 2025:

8 & Under swimmers won't start until ~12:30 pm on Sunday!

During Competition, lane 10 & 11 are for warm-ups and cool-downs for 13 – 18 year old swimmers throughout the meet. Swimmers must follow the directions of the lifeguards and meet officials at all times during warm-ups and while in the warm-up/cool-down lane.

PARKING

VIP PARKING: We will be offering VIP parking passes in the Staff lot at College Park. These parking passes will be $30 advanced purchase per day and $40 onsite via the Square link. The passes usually sell out prior to the meet. These passes will allow you unlimited access to the parking lot throughout the meet. Order your pass online at the Square market:

You will be sent an email confirming your order that you will bring to the meet to check in at the VIP parking lot.

GENERAL PARKING: There is general parking in the upper parking lot and at DVC across the street.

OFFICIAL PARKING: Specifically assigned officials will be able to park in the Valley View Middle School parking lot, which will be monitored by our parking marshall.

TEAM AREAS

TEAM AREAS AND SET UP: Every participating team is assigned a team area in the hallways. Areas will be marked when you arrive and are in this MAP. The campus will be open for set-up at 4 pm on Friday and gates will close at 6 pm. NOTE: If tents, chairs or other personal belongings are left overnight, Pleasant Hill Dolfins Swim Team and other affiliated agencies are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Summer school starts again early on Monday morning so please be a good neighbor by picking up your trash and placing it in the appropriate receptacle locations.

MEET INFO

CLERK OF THE COURSE: All swimmers must check-in at Clerk of the Course before their race. Be sure to follow our "X" feed for Clerk calls. The area in Clerk of the Course and immediately around the pool is a secure area – only competing swimmers, coaches and officials will be allowed in this area.

All swimmers should be clearly marked with their first initial, last name, and age on the right shoulder and each of their events – heat and lane – should be noted on their hand.

COMMUNICATIONS: Results will be posted on the fence near the entrance to the pool. They will also be posted on Meet Mobile. For up-to-the-minute announcements and calls to the clerk of the course, follow us on "X" @phdolfins. Go to Battle Headquarters next to the Snack Shack, if you would like to purchase a meet program ($10 print, $7 digital), or if you have any general questions.

RAFFLE: Be sure to visit our Raffle table next to Battle HQ. Tickets are 1 for $3, 4 for $10, or 10 for $20 will be available at Battle HQ.

AWARDS

Battle of the Ages is a unique invitational in that you swim against swimmers of your own age (as of June 15, 2024)! Awards will be distributed as follows.

Individual

A Division – Medals 1st – 3rd and Ribbons 4th – 8th place
B Division – Medals 1st – 3rd and Ribbons 4th – 8th place

POOL RULES

SAFETY: Any behavior deemed by a Meet Marshall or Official to be unsafe will not be tolerated.  The Head Meet Marshall shall have the authority to eject anyone behaving in an unsafe manner from the school grounds and recommend to the Meet Referee that such individual be removed from further competition in the meet.

BEVERAGES: No alcoholic beverages or glass containers will be permitted anywhere on the school campus.  Any possession of alcohol will result in your team being removed from the meet.

SMOKING: No smoking will be permitted anywhere on the school campus including the parking lots.  Any violation of this rule will result in your team being removed from the meet.

NO PETS:No pets are allowed on campus, with the exception of service animals.
