Hello Dolfin Families,
This is the last opportunity to order our custom gear from Zumo. The store will close at midnight on 5/22 to ensure that all gear arrives before Battle of the Ages. If you have any questions or problems about your gear you can talk to Mark from Zumo since he will be on the pool deck.
- Swim Team Night with the Oakland A's! The game is on Tuesday, June 18th at 7:05 p.m. vs. the Orioles. This is also a free parking night! Cost for Field Level tickets is $30 and must be ordered by Tuesday, May 28th. Cash or check (payable to PHD) can be turned into the district office or placed in the Cloward family file folder
- Dine and Donate next week at Panera!!! Tuesday, May 21st. Flyer is attached. You don't want to miss this one!
BATTLE OF THE AGES
Our biggest fundraiser of the year is coming up fast! We'll need all hands on deck to make this meet successful. If your family will not be in town over Battle weekend (June 22-23) please reach out to Katrina Hunn, Battle Director as soon as possible so she can get you going on a Pre-Battle job to fulfill your requirement: [email protected]
MEETINGS and OTHER EVENTS
- Thursday, May 16 New Parent Meeting. Q and A at 7p and meeting at 7:30. All parents welcome even if not new to the team. Volunteer Work Sign Ups will open up later that evening.
- Saturday, May 18 is the Set Up Day/Work Party at the pool. You can sign up for this when the sign ups open. It's a fun and fairly quick morning if there are is a good turnout
- Sheryl Webster, our desk operations lead has the following message for interested parents:
DESK OPERATIONS
We are in need of people to help with Desk Operations this year. We need help to run the Desk, Computer and Colorado Timing system. We will train! These jobs are not difficult and you will have the best seat in the house during the meets! Being part of the Desk Operations Team will fulfill your work requirement obligations (not including Invitationals). Please let Sheryl Webster ([email protected]) know if you are interested or if you have any questions.
UPCOMING MEETS AND CORRESPONDING DEADLINES
- Sunday, May 19th TIME TRIALS!!!!! Warm Ups at 8:30 am
- Saturday, June 1st-9 and Under meet hosted by Pleasant Hill Aquatics (PHA). This meet is an invitational which means if your swimmer attends you'll need to sign up to help out with a timing shift or another duty. This meet is only for swimmers who are 9 years old and under. Please commit your swimmer to this meet on our website as soon as possible. There are always very strict deadlines for invitationals and no late entries are allowed. The deadline to sign your swimmer up for the meet is May 23rd so please don't miss out. This is a very fun meet for our youngest swimmers! They may sign up to swim a maximum of 5 events which exception of 6/Unders who may swim 4 events. Reach out to your coaches with any questions.
