Hello Dolfins Families!
We have been busy planning for the 2020 season. Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the end of season survey. We appreciate your feedback. We will be adding new information to our website to help respond to comments that frequently come up in the survey.

Snack Shack
We are in need of a lead for our awesome snack shack. Here are some of the job duties:
- The Snack Shack Lead is responsible for setting the menu, handling financial aspects of the snack shack and managing the workers on home meet days & during Battle, from set-up to closing.
- Coordinate with Michael Katz and Grill Team for BBQ
- Coordinate with food and supplies purchaser for each meet, including providing a shopping list
- Coordinate with Board of Directors for the overall snack shack experience.
This is a great opportunity for you to put your own spin on the snack shack!
This is a big job, but it’s always more fun with friends! This position can be shared with 2 families. Snack Shack Leads are exempt from general work requirements and are not required to attend every board meeting. Battle of the Ages
Battle of the Ages is our biggest fundraiser and a very important part of our season. The 2020 Battle will be held June 20 & 21. Our Battle Leads this year are Katrina Hunn, with Ryann Kuiper and Tyler Nohr! Battle is a team effort and we are currently looking for Battle Committee Leads. Committee Leads include the following areas:
- Battle HQ
- Raffle
- Hospitality
- Sponsorships & Donations
- Awards
- Program
- Logo/T-shirt Design

Winter Swim Clinic & Spring Swim Clinics
We have a few options for swimmers to get in the water before the 2020 season begins.
Winter Swim Clinic Tu/Th 12/3-12/19 4:00-5:00 pm Register here!
Spring Swim Clinics will be held starting February 11. Watch for class details in our Winter/Spring Spotlight, which will be hitting mailboxes the week of Thanksgiving. Registration opens December 2.
2020 Registration
Registration for the 2020 season will begin on December 2. Please check out the Winter/Spring Spotlight, coming the week of Thanksgiving for all the details, and be sure to sign-up early for the lowest registration fees.

If you use the optional payment plan, a credit card on file is required for the March 1 and April 1 payments.
And new this year, your Dolfins registration includes a Family Swim Pass for Public Swim at PH Aquatic Park! PH Aquatic Park is open Memorial Day through Labor Day for public swim hours (weekends only when school is in session, and 7 days/week during the summer break).
Lifeguard Training (15 +)
Each year the District hires lifeguards and swim instructors for spring and summer programs. All applicants need to have American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification. This year we are holding a Winter Break lifeguarding class! This is a great way to get a jump on a spring or summer job. For class details, and to register, check out our website.
Dolfins Tree Lot – Coupon attached!
The 37th Annual Dolfins Christmas Tree Lot will be at the Winslow Center (2590 Pleasant Hill Road) selling fresh Oregon Trees November 29-December 24. Please support the Dolfins Tree Lot! A coupon is attached for the Dolfins Tree Lot.
Holiday Festival, December 4, 5:00-8:00 pm
Get into the holiday spirit with a variety of activities to delight the whole family at the Pleasant Hill Community Center. Activities include live performances, the famous Talking Christmas Tree, visits with the big man himself, Santa Claus and so much more! The Dolfins will be serving up hot cocoa. Please be sure to stop by and say hi!
Coach Talli needs a few teenagers to put on Santa hats and help serve the hot cocoa. Please contact Coach Talli if you are available to help.
