DOLFIN MARCH NEWS!!!!

Amy Ross

Happy Sunday Morning Dolfin Families!!

Wow what gorgeous weather we have had!  It's definitely feeling like swim season!  On behalf of the Parent Board, I want to share with great optimism that I am very hopeful we can look forward to a fun filled and safe 2021 recreational swim season.  Practice will be starting April 12th, and behind the scenes we are busy ordering supplies and updating the website so that we are prepared for whatever is thrown our way!  Below I have included a lot of detailed information from the Recreation and Parks District as well as a note from Coach Talli.  Please do take the time to read through all of the information and feel free to contact either myself, Korey or Talli with any questions.  One big piece of my job is setting up meets and the desk so that meets can be run and times recorded.  That involves the timing system and all of the other desk operations equipment.  Sheryl Webster has, over the years, done an amazing job of running the desk, training new computer folks, and overseeing shifts so that the desk is always covered.  Her swimmers have gone on to college which is exciting but leaves a void for us!!  Please do reach out to me directly should you have any interest in learning how to work the desk, or if you have worked the desk in past and want to continue to do so!!  We would be forever grateful!!!  We should have more information soon regarding volunteer hours and any changes to how we run the desk, timing chairs and snack shack so that they conform with county and state guidelines and are safe for all involved.

Thanks so much for being amazing and I look so forward to this spring and summer!!!  GO PHD
