Nick Dion: This will be Coach Nick's 6th season with the Hurricanes and we are so lucky! He has served as the Assistant Swim and Water Polo coach at Flower Mound High School since 2022. Prior to being at Flower Mound, Dion was the Head Swim Coach at Liberty High School in Frisco for two years. While at Liberty, he led three swimmers to state finals in their respective events. While in Frisco, he also coached the Frisco United Water Polo club.  In addition to his duties with FMHS, Dion also currently works for Mavericks Water Polo Club as a coach. He was a four-year letterman in swimming at Marcus High School and made the All-State team his senior year. We love Coach Nick! He will be involved with all age groups, and continue to run practice with the 11 and up group. 

Peighton Kruzel - This will be Coach Peighton's firt year with Highland Shores. Peighton swam for four years for Flower Mound High School, and is currently swimming and attending Washington and Lee University. We look forward to welcoming her to the staff! She will help coach the 9/10 year old group.

Anne Smrstik - Coach Anne is returning to our program this year. She has been part of the Hurricane family for many years and does a great job! Coach Anne currently attends the University of Oklahoma. She will continue to help coach the 7/8 year old group.

Hannah Kraft: This will be Coach Hannah's second year with our program. We are excited Hannah will again be part of our coaching staff! She was part of the Marcus swim and water polo teams for four years. Hannah also currently teaches the Stroke team with LAC.  She will continue to help coach the 5/6 year old group.

Kenadi Dion - This is Coach Kenadi's first summer with Highland Shores. We are happy to have recruited another talented Dion to be part of our team! She currently plays waterpolo and swims for Marcus High School. She will help coach the 5/6 year old group.
