The Wellington Sharks Swim Team provides an awesome and memorable summer swim team experience for the Wellington of Flower Mound residents. We teach kids to become better competitive swimmers, develop young adults into mature coaches and team leaders, and build a spirit of community and volunteerism within Wellington parents and families.

Registration for the 2025 Summer Season will open April 1st, 2025 for returning families and April 3rd for new families.

A few UPCOMING dates to be aware of:​

• Registration opens April 1st (returning families, April 3rd for new families)
• Information Session will be held on May 3rd from 3-4PM at the Conference Room at the Wellington HOA Athletic Center (3520 Furlong Dr. E., Flower Mound)
• Practice will start on May 27th, the Tuesday after Memorial Day
  • ​Practice times are determined by age group, starting w. the oldest swimmers down to the youngest
  • Practice times can be found on the Practice Schedule tab
• Season Kick Off Popsicle Party will be held Sunday June 1st from 6-8PM at the Wellington West Pool
• New to the Team?  All new Swimmers (8 and under) must pass a Swim Check.  
  • Swim Checks will be held at the Wellington West Pool on the following dates:  April 27th 2-4PM, May 10th 2-4PM, and May 17th 2-4PM.  No sign-up required - just show up! 

Swim Meets are scheduled for Monday June 2nd, June 9th, June 16th, June 23rd and June 30th - see Swim Meet tab for more details.
