Clerk of the Course

Help check in swimmers for their events and get them lined up and assembled before they walk out to the blocks.

Marshals
-
The Marshals’ job is to make sure that people are where they’re supposed to be and no one is in an area where they aren’t supposed to be. Each designated Marshal area is like a guardpost. That means Marshals must understand the rules, communicate the rules, and be comfortable saying “No” to people, especially people who would like to pretend rules don’t apply to them.

Coaches Support

This job involves setting up the area for our coaches, getting their morning coffee and lunch food orders and offering any general assistance.

1 person for each day: ~8 AM to 2 PM

15-18 Tent Support
-
The 15-18 swimmers get their own tent to hang out in during the meet. This job involves getting to the meet early to set up their tent with food, drinks and decorations and checking throughout the day to see if more food or drink is needed.

WHO VIP Tent Support

There are 2 WHO VIP tents. This job involves getting to the meet early to set up their tent with food, drinks and decorations and checking throughout the day to see if more food or drink is needed.

Spirit Tent

There is a spirit table where kids can do spirit activities and they can spin a wheel to get a small prize if they pop their time. The spirit team has all the supplies for this tent but you would be working at the tent.

Set Up Friday Afternoon (set up WHO stuff)
-
This team sets up the team pop-up tents (VIP tent, 15-18 tent and spirit tent) for the team. You would meet at the WHO pool at on Friday afternoon and pack-up the pop-up tents and spirit tent supplies in your cars. Then, you will wait in line for gates to open at Heather Farms and set up pop-ups and supplies to our team area when gates open at 6pm, and be done no later than 7:00pm. A large car or truck to haul pop-ups and supplies will be required.

This team will deliver 4 pop-up tents to Heather Farm at 4:30pm. This team will be assigned various tasks to help set up the meet. You would meet at the WHO pool earlier on Friday afternoon and pack-up the pop-up tents in your cars. A large car or truck to haul pop-ups will be required by the set up crew.

Take Down Sunday Afternoon (take down WHO stuff)

This team takes down the WHO team pop up tents (VIP tent, 15-18 tent, and spirit tent) as soon as the meet is over. You will help clean up the team area, return any WHO items to our lost and found, and take down WHO spirit signs around the team area and pool. A large car or truck will be required.

This team takes down and cleans up the pool area as soon as the meet is over. A large car or truck will be required by the bring 4 WHO tents back to the WHO pool.
