Edison Chargers Swim Volunteer Positions 2024
The Swim Program can only be successful with the support of all our Charger Families! Volunteers are a necessity for a variety of duties.

| Photographers: Melinda Rees (Will’s mom) and Kristi Boyd (Ava’s mom) have volunteered once again to be our primary photographers this year, but we welcome all parents to take pictures. The pictures will be used for the yearbook and the team banquet. You may post any pictures here: Google Photo link. All photos posted by March 15th will be considered for the yearbook. |
Senior Meet Chair & Senior gifts: Alicia Purvis (Chase’s mom); It would be great for all of our senior parents to be involved to make this last season and home meet a memorable one for your Senior swimmer. |
| Banquet Chair: Margaret Wonser (Kate’s mom); This is our biggest event of the year and we need a lot of hands, so the more volunteers the merrier. | Banquet Program Ad & Letter Coordinator: Need a coordinator who will work with the Banquet Program Coordinator, collecting and organizing the ads and coaches’ and seniors’ letters for the end of season Banquet Program. |
| Banquet Slideshow Coordinator: Need a coordinator who will select the pictures accumulated throughout the season and turn them into a slide show which we will watch at the banquet. |
Banquet Program Coordinator: Need a coordinator who is familiar with photo editing and uploading and experience using some type of graphic design program like Canva. This is a wonderful keepsake of the season for everyone on the team |
| EHS Yearbook Editor: Olivia Lee (swimmer) will collect and organize girls and boys team pictures for the Edison High School yearbook. Photos for yearbook consideration must be posted by Friday, March 15th | Apparel Coordinator: Christine Kim (Olivia and Holden’s mom) has been volunteered to coordinate the athletic packs and team store merchandise. |
| Fundraising Coordinator: Teri Emerson (Madison and Thomas’s mom) coordinates the fundraising efforts for swim and both water polo teams. | Snack Bar Chair: Need someone to lead in making sure our snack bar is set-up and staffed for each home meet. |
| Timers/Lane Writers: For each of our home meets, we need a head timer, lane timers (2 per lane; 6 lanes) and lane writers. Typically there will be 1st and 2nd half positions. More info to sign up for these positions will be sent out prior to the 1st meet. This is the best seat in the house to watch your swimmer(s). | Swim Meet Announcer: TBD Computer/Data Entry Operator: TBD |
| Scoreboard Operators: Maggie Easterday (Aaron’s mom) has graciously agreed to help this year and train the next generation of scoreboard operators; Need 1-2 additional underclassmen parents. | Pink Meet Chair: Need someone to take the lead in arranging the various aspects of the meet. |
