About the Invite

  • One of the top run swim invites in Northern California that's fun for the athletes and earlier in the season. We are capping the meet at about 25 teams.
  • Over 20+ Years of Successful and FUN Swim Invite experience
  • No 500m swims - the goal of this event is to be fun and move at a faster pace.
  • Our event is run smoothly, fun, professional, and a great experience for athletes.
  • Showers on-site, locker room accessible to athletes - we are set-up to host large invitationals.
  • Covered area seating with ample room for chairs, EZ-Ups for athletes, coaches, and cheering fans.
  • We have a Spirit award in addition to the varsity and JV category awards.
  • Check out Placer Valley Tourism  get connected with local hotels for overnight stays (along with activities + dining)

Events

  • Each swimmer can enter up to 2 individual events and 2 relay events per day.
  • Each team may enter a maximum of 2 relays per relay event per division.
  • Participants will have a chance to swim in both traditional high school events and fun relays.
  • Participants will have the chance to swim in an excellent aquatics facility that has 16 competition lanes and a separate 5-lane warm up/down pool.
  • Participants will get a chance to swim against teams and swimmers outside their swim league.
  • Team Award for overall relay event champions for different class levels (Frosh/Soph and Varsity) and boys/girls.

Gate Fee

  • GEN admission: $8
  • 65 and over: $5
  • Six and under: free

Athlete Registration + Fees

Entries

  • Online Meet Entries are due no later than 5pm on Monday, 3/11/2024 (new)
  • Entries to be emailed to TJ Kay at [email protected]  916-747-0263. 
  • You may enter this meet by email and a meet event file will be emailed to you. 
    • Hand-written entries are accepted, but not ideal (TY)
  • Deck entries will NOT be accepted. 

Fees

  • Event fee is
    • $200 per individual grade division (Frosh/Soph and Varsity Girls + Boys)
    • $650 for all four (4) grade divisions.
  • Please send your checks in advance of the meet - thanks for your help and attention to this matter.

Event Info + Amenities

  • Team Awards will be given for top relay scoring team for each division (Frosh/Soph and Varsity) for both boys and girls. 
    • Awards are subject to change and may be different, this will be discussed in the coaches meeting on deck
  • Hospitality: Lunch and hospitality will be available to meet officials and coaches. Snack Bar: A snack bar will be on-site.

  • Starbucks, Raleys grocery store, and some restaurants are within a block or two.

Parking

  • FRIDAY ONLY
    • Allow extra time for parking before 1pm. Woodcreek HS releases at 1250pm this day. 
    • BEFORE 1pm - do NOT park in the main school parking lot OR Any Staff Parking during school hours! Adhere to this request to avoid ticketing or tow. (see image below RED zone).
    • AFTER 1pm - you can park where legally permissable in all lots.
  • SATURDAY ONLY - parking is available where legal and open in all Woodcreek / RAC parking - no limitations
  • TAPED or CONED OFF Parking Spaces in the RAC lot - do NOT park there!

  • Add'l parking at Mahany Fitness Center at 1545 Pleasant Grove Blvd, Roseville 95747. There are unpaved trails to cut across to the R.A.C. or sidewalks down Woodcreek Oaks. Heavy rains can flood this area*
  • Park at your own risk in the dirt lots.
  • No overnight parking is allowed, per City of Roseville at the Roseville Aquatics Complex.
  

Rules + Regulations

  • Rules: This meet will be governed with a combination of USA Swimming and CIF rules. All events are short course yards and timed finals. Swimmers are responsible for reporting to the clerk or blocks when the event is called. Failure to report will scratch the swimmer or relay from their event. Swimmers may swim in a maximum of 2 individual events and 2 relay events per day. Teams may enter a maximum of 2 relays per event.
  • Results will be on Meet Mobile (app) - download in advance of the event.  
    • Athletes and Coaches - Day-of events: typically the most current info is posted on the NORTH wall of our office space (near the ramps to the bathrooms)
  • Reminder - no photos are to be taken behind the blocks
  • Three-Point Entry for all athletes / participants

Swimmer + Guest Warnings

  • The warm-up area will be designated within the main competition pool.
  • The Warm-Up pool is to be used for LAP SWIMMING ONLY.
  • No playing will be allowed in the beach entry area of the pool.

Tents / EZ-Ups

  • Teams + Coaches - bring your own tents / EZ-Ups + bring your own supplies for securing them (5G buckets / cords / etc)
  • During the day, EZ-UPs must be secured with 5-Gallon Buckets and bungees or Weights (you bring your own supplies)
  • ABSOLUTELY NO SPIKES, TARPS or GROUND COVERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE GRASS.
  • Weather warnings: 
    • If we have high-winds or it's predicted - we do want EZ-UPs to be FULLY collapsed on Friday evening (NOT JUST LOWERED). They can be left in their spot. We are asking for an honor system that folks respect the space folks have reserved on Day one.
    • If ground is wet or heavy rains: We may have limitations of grass access areas. No setting up on the grass - tarps, tents, EZ-UPs

Prohibited items and behaviors:

  • Smoking and the use of other tobacco products (including vape pens) in all areas of the meet venue.
  • The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages in all areas of meet venue.
  • No Glass containers are not allowed in the pool area.
  • No pets are allowed in the pool area.
  • No propane heaters are allowed within the facility.
  • Our program reserves the right to excuse / remove a party from the grounds for unsportsmanlike conduct on the grounds or violation of rules.
