Swim Practice

*After School practice "end times" for various squads will be posted once items are finalized*.

Varsity athletes who practice after school - you may be asked to stay longer on occasion.

Athletes who are not in athletic PE (4th period) will practice from 3:45-5:30* (JV athletes may not be asked to stay as long - thanks for your flexibility for first few weeks of practice). The first few weeks - we do ask for you to be flexible on pickup for non-driving athletes.

Swim Meets: Home + Away

HOME meets: when we host a meet - ALL Athletes are expected to help set up the pool AND assist with breakdown + cleanup (with cool-downs at Coach's discretion). They will be released early from the 4th period, typically around 2:20 PM they should be on deck no later than 2:40 and be ready to change quickly. The same goes for clean-up AFTER a meet - all athletes involved unless excused by the coach.

AWAY meets: release times will vary depending on the distance to the meet. Athletes/parents are responsible for finding a ride or carpooling and getting to the meet on time. Arrival times for travel meets are 1 hour before start time.

All swim meets (unless warned) will start at 4pm. Always assume things may run faster or slower with Aquatics.

ALL MEET DAYS: wear your favorite Woodcreek Swim + Dive swag / gear to school to represent our program.

If you are a coach or athlete looking for information about the Swim Invitational OR NCSC - please see the EVENTS tab for more info
