OLD info below from the 2023-24 Season - Please Watch for Updates in August 2024. We are keeping some items intentionally so you know what to expect in advance for those new to the program.

All Girl Squads

• Link to Calendar (not active)
• Girls Water Polo Handbook - Google Doc read and sign and send to school with your athlete. 
• Athletic clearance done (link) so you can practice, train, or play in games.
• Gear (link closed)
• Girls' Water Polo Suit Orders - Ryte Gear Suits (closed)
• On Sundays, team parents will forward "Coach's Corner" for a run-down of that week.
  • If you haven't completed the "Athlete Registration" you may not be receiving these emails. 
  • Typically this is also when you see the "Sign-Up Genius" for volunteer opportunities.
• Coach D'Arienzo allows athletes to store their polo bags for the day (Rm 608). Be respectful of his classroom.
  • On game days - we suggest you have your polo bag on your person in case Coach has to leave early!
• Download the SportsYou app - the code was emailed out by team parents (not posted intentionally). Athletes and parents/guardians are welcome to join the app. 
• Missing practice, games, or tournaments - athletes should email their coaches in advance when possible (not team parents).

​Games + Tournaments

• Schedule / Calendar is posted above + linked on main website (please see calendar changes from 8/18)
• Early Release Schedule - if your athlete's squad is a 4pm/5pm AWAY game OR it's a Friday tournament - there's a likelihood for an early release which Coach D'Arienzo oversees.
• Look at your schedule now and warn your teachers in advance of games + events. 
• Volunteer Sign-Ups for games - posted in the "News" section

1st Period Athletes

• WED • 8am (NEW) • On "late start" Wednesdays you should be on the pool deck in your suit and ready to go at 8:30 AM. 
• Talk to Coach Kelsey if you would like to attend practices before school starts (JV)
• Seniors - see the "News" section for the "Senior posters" photoshoot. 

After School / JV Squad Practice

• Practices
  • ​JV Boys Practice (normal): 345-515pm (RIGHT after school - release is 320pm)
  • JV Girls Practice (normal): 415-6pm (pool clean-up may pad some extra time + watch for "Chalk Talk" days)
    • This means BE READY to stretch and get in the pool at 415pm.
  • Minimum day practice times - are TBD.
  • New players for your practice: towel, sunscreen, suit, water bottles, goggles.

Our Aquatics Board volunteers work hard to provide the best experience for our athletes for this short and special time of their high school career. Our coaches are navigating multiple jobs and roles. If you see something that can be done better - please get involved on our board. We appreciate the help as volunteers.
