Austin Stevenson • Boys Water Polo Coach

My name is Austin Stevenson, and I’ve been a part of the water polo community in the area since my freshman year in 2010.

I played for Bella Vista high school, leading me to get recruited by Long Beach State after a successful high school career. I started in all of my years at Long Beach State University water polo team and was selected to travel with the USA Men's Senior National Team to Taipei, Taiwan in 2017 for the World University Games. 

After college, I returned to Sacramento to help spread the knowledge I gained from playing under some of the best coaches in America. I coach all different age groups and levels, from beginners just starting to play, to players who are trying to make the national team through ODP. I have also coached at American River Water Polo Club. 

I coach to help guide young adults who are resilient and selfless, who are always working to better themselves and their teammates with hard work and integrity in everything they do, on or off the pool deck.
