The Walton S&D Booster Club is proud to offer: the Walton Swim & Dive Booster Club Scholarship!

These scholarships are brought to you by our Premier Sponsors: OTR Solutions, Heritage Building Group, Iglar Asset Management of Raymond James, Career BFF, and Jeff Xu - State Farm.

We will be offering up to two swimmer/diver scholarships for $750 each.  The student athlete must meet the following criteria in order to qualify for this scholarship. NOTE: Student athletes MAY apply for both the Booster Club Scholarship and the Grace Bunke Scholarship; however, applicants may only receive ONE scholarship.

Please contact the Booster Club President, if you plan to swim/dive at the college you plan to attend this fall but you are still waiting on an acceptance letter from the school.

Criteria:

1.         The recipient must be enrolled full time at Walton High School.

2.         The recipient must be a Walton High School Senior.

3.         The recipient must be a current active swimmer or diver on the Walton Swim & Dive Team.

4.         The recipient must commit to either swim or dive at the college they will be attending for the following fall term.

5.         The scholarship may be used at any four-year accredited college or university.

6.         The scholarship funds of $750 will be paid directly to the winners with the understanding that the recipient will utilize the money for college expenses.

7.         The Google Doc linked below, the Walton S&D Booster Club Scholarship Application, must be completed and submitted.

8.         Essay Section of Application (under 1,000 words): How has competitive swimming or diving impacted your life and character? Include at least one specific example demonstrating how your character was tested in a competitive environment.

9.         Keep a copy of your application and essay for your records.

11.      Due Date: February 27th, 2026.  No entries will be accepted after this date.

12.      A scholarship committee, comprised of the coaches and members of the Walton S&D Board, will select the winners by mid March.

13.      The scholarship winners will be notified via email after the awards banquet.

14.      The scholarship winners will be awarded a check in the sum of $750 at the awards banquet.

15.      Awarded amounts: $750 Scholarship for up to two senior swimmers/divers for the current season only.
