PARENT VOLUNTEERS: Our Success Is Dependent On You!
The success of the Walton Swim & Dive program is 100% dependent on the strong involvement of our parent volunteers. The leadership, quality of time, talent, skills, and generosity of our parent volunteers, help ensure that our athletes have all the support that is central to making this program run smoothly and efficiently. Swim and dive meets, and all things associated with the team, would not be possible without the help of our parents. As a volunteer, you will actively feel and be a part of the team, help build a healthy, positive environment and continue to support our team traditions.
**UPDATED FOR THE 2025-26 SEASON** Please note that as a member of the Booster Club and team, families are needed to help in many areas. Each family is required to earn at least 6 volunteer points (approx. 2-4 shifts) or volunteer for 1 committee chair position each season.
To help ensure that we maintain a quality program, there is a $200 refundable family volunteer deposit check required at our mandatory Pot Luck Dinner held in October. Your family volunteer deposit check will be returned to you once you have fulfilled your voluntary requirements.
If you DO NOT fulfill your commitment, your check will be donated to the Walton Swim & Dive Team. All checks will be returned at the End of Season Awards Banquet. Board Members and Chairs are exempt from providing a Volunteer Deposit check.
