Good Afternoon New and Returning LLD Families!

First, I want to remind everyone that being a part of our swim team comes with a lot of emails and updates as things go very quickly in our short season. Information comes from many places including: FSSL, our HOA, the lifeguards at the pool, and so on. As many of you saw with the severe weather this week, we can/do have last minute changes to our swim practices. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we get information out to you as soon as we have it/are able. That being said, LLD is trying to alert families faster with the use of text messages. We are approaching our first swim meet on 6/15 and with that comes a few action items for each family to ensure everything runs smoothly for LLD as well as for the meet(s) in general. You will need to DECLARE your swimmer for each meet to let the coaches know that they will be swimming in the meet. Coaches will assign swimmers to events based on swimmer skill, interest and need. You can currently log into your account and declare each of your swimmers to any/all of the swim meets for the season today if you wish. Click on Events, Meet Entries and Commit your swimmers and click Save. This season, Coaches are unable to get your swimmer into a meet if they are not declared by the Wednesday morning before each meet at 7:30am. This change is to ensure all necessary tasks are complete in a timely manner to allow for a smooth and successful swim meet for each team. Thank you in advance for declaring your swimmers on time!

Volunteer Job Signup- You will be able to signup for volunteer spots for our first meet on Monday June 10th at 7pm through your account. All spots are first come first serve. Volunteer requirements for this season: Team-3 volunteer jobs, Pre-team-2 volunteer jobs. New families- please be sure to submit your volunteer check to our Treasurer before the first meet if you haven't already.
