The Kimberly Anne Gillary Foundation

Jennifer Faraj

Kimberly Gillary played tennis at Detroit Golf Club from the age of 4. She passed away in 2000 at the age of 15 from an undetected heart condition. Her parents, DGC members Randy and Susan Gillary, still support our DGC teams in many ways. They have generously donated several AEDs to DGC as well as provided training, and they also donate to our swim team annually in support of a charity fundraiser. We honor Kimberly's memory with her plaque at DGC and the annual Kimberly Anne Gillary Award.
