All DGC children ages 6-18 are highly encouraged to join the Junior Inter-Club Tennis Team once they know the basic strokes and rules of the game, and can drop feed and serve. This is how they will learn to play the actual game of tennis, which is the point of the tennis program! Practices are Tuesday-Friday throughout the summer, and focus on singles and doubles strategies which get players ready for matches played on the weekends. The fee is $15 per practice session. The season ends the first weekend in August with the Inter-Club Championship and Awards Dinner and Dance.
