Detroit Golf Club Tennis is led by our Head Tennis Professional, John Sheets. Members are in good hands with his impressive amount of experience playing tennis, as well as also teaching the sport. Detroit Golf Club has three beautiful tennis courts that are home to a variety of games throughout the season. Singles, doubles, mixed doubles, play with friends and multiple tournament options are offered, in addition to other programming for both adults and children. Beginner, Intermediate and Cardio Tennis is offered for adults. Junior programs are always popular and include several sessions of clinics as well as the Junior Inter-Club Tennis Team. Pickleball is quickly growing in popularity both in the area and at the club. Additionally, our tennis instructors are available for private instruction for all ages, as well as racquet stringing and re-gripping.  Participation in Detroit Golf Club Tennis is exclusive to club members and their children only, ages four and up. For club membership inquiries, please contact us below.
