Family Folders, Apparel, All-City, and More!
Hi Everyone -
Hopefully you are reading this in the shade from Seminole Pool - it's a hot one! If you are at the pool, you may have noticed the shiny new cabinet in the breezeway, already filled with family folders. Thanks to Kaitlyn Zuehl for putting the family folders together and to Kristine PItzen for providing the cabinet. Take a minute to find your family folder (sorted by last names)...it may have a ribbon in it from our first home meet! Any team shirts that were not previously picked up are also in family folders.
If you placed an second round apparel order, Simply Swimming will be reaching out to you directly when your order arrives.
All-City communications will start this week so look for e-mails with all the info. Check out the link below as well for all the up to the minute details: https://swim.ridgewoodallcity.com/
Also, Make sure to follow the Seminole Swim and Dive teams using @sem_sharks on Instagram and Seminole Sharks Swim & Dive Team on Facebook. We will have links to All-City information on these social media platforms as well along with other great updates about our Sharks.
Finally, please be sure to read Coach Andrew's updates this week. It's very important to stress that our coaches need to understand if your swimmer will participate in relays during a meet. If a kiddo is placed on a relay but they aren't able to swim, it creates lots of confusion on the pool deck during the meet as coaches try to re-configure relays on the fly with other swimmers. If you can't stay for relays or your swimmer doesn't want to be in a relay (both totally fine scenarios!), please make sure to note this in your swim sign up on TeamUnify.
Also, ask your swimmer if they understand how flyover starts work. Andrew has a great description in his update this week. Flyover starts are important because they help the meet go faster as they reduce the lag time between races.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at Hawk's Landing on Thursday Night! Go Sharks!
