All-City Updates for Sunday, July 24th - IMPORTANT

Sarah Terry-Rost

Hello Sharks!

This is the first in a series of daily updates you will receive to help Shark families keep their All-City trains on the track.  Please be sure to review the "All-City 101" document (attached again here) for the overview and then pay attention to the daily e-mails to help you do the next right things for the days ahead. /recmlsptawi/UserFiles/Image/QuickUpload/all-city-swim-101-2022_074089.docx

We are still seeking volunteers for clean-up on Wednesday night for the Pasta Party.  We have had a few families decline to complete their volunteer requirements (they will be charged accordingly per our volunteer policy) which has left a bit of a hole in our staffing for the pasta party.  If you would like to help us fill the gap, please sign up on Team Unify and know that we will be eternally grateful to you and your family for going above and beyond this year.

Today is All-City warm-ups for both Dive and Swim.  Please note that the All-City Dive warms-up times were adjusted due to some power outages at Goodman last night.

Tomorrow our 13-14 and 11-12 Divers begin All-City competition at the Goodman Pool.  Best of luck to these exceptional athletes!

On the swim side, we will practice per normal tomorrow

  • After each practice, All-City t-shirts will be distributed and each group will have the opportunity to tie dye these shirts.  Please note that if you have an 8 and under swimmer, a parent helper must be in attendance if your kiddo would like to participate in the tie dye event.

Finally, psych sheets will be available tomorrow on the All-City app - have you downloaded it yet?  Psych sheets provide current rankings for swimmers relative to their All-City competition.  It's always fun to see how swimmers' best times stack up against the competition.

Go Sharks!
