All-City Updates for Friday, July 29th - IMPORTANT
Top of the Morning to you Sharks!
Congrats to our Shark bigs who left everything and more in the water yesterday as they competed in their preliminary races. We have lots of Sharks headed to the finals which is awesome, but it was so gratifying to see kids cutting times and celebrating personal best regardless of their placement. Seminole families have much to be proud of!
Preliminaries for 8 and Under and 9-10 swimmers as well as relay finals for 8 and Unders are currently underway at Ridgewood. Please be sure you are keeping track of notification on the app to ensure that your swimmer gets to clerk of course with plenty of time to spare.
Are we keeping our tent tidy? Do you see trash that needs to be addressed? We want to be the BEST All-City citizens - please clean up as you leave for the day. Also, space in the tent can be a bit tight so be cognizant of your space as you hang out to ensure that all Sharks have a place to relax.
Tonight (Friday night) at the pool, please be sure to prioritize relay and championship practice at Seminole pool. If your swimmer is on a relay on Saturday or if they have made it to the finals, they should plan to attend. Here are the times for each age group:
- 9-10 from 7:00-7:20 pm
- 11-12 from 7:20-7:40 pm
- 13+ from 7:40-8:10 pm
Tomorrow is All-City Championship Saturday at Ridgwood. The meet starts at 8:00 am. Warm-ups start at 6:30 am. Swimmer are also welcome to warm up on their own until 10:30 am at Seminole if they don't swim until later in the session.
Finally, plan on joining us from 6:15 pm-8:15pm at Seminole on Saturday night as we host our swim and dive team banquet, celebrating another great season. Looking foward to seeing all of you!
Go Sharks!
