All City Newsletter Week 2!
Good afternoon Sharks!
I know some of you received an All City update from me last week and some didn't, so here's to hoping everyone gets it this week!
My name is Kathryn Kuehn and I am your All City Parent Rep this summer! I will be sending weekly All City newsletters with important updates and deadlines that you will want to know. You can find additional information in this weeks newsletter and of course I am always here to answer any questions that you may have.
For families that are new to the team or that have not participated in All City before, I can give a little background. This is a super fun meet that wraps up the summer season by bringing all 13 pools together to compete in the All City Championship Meet. It’s actually one of the largest outdoor amateur swim meets in the country and a guaranteed fun time for swimmers AND families!
This year All City will take place at Goodman pool from Thursday July 27th-Saturday July 29th. Swimmers ages 13+ will have prelims on the Thursday 7/27, and swimmers 12 and under will have prelims on Friday 7/28. ALL swimmers that make it to finals will compete on Saturday 7/29. In order to participate your swimmer needs to swim in at least 3 of the dual meets during the summer!
Much like the dual meets that we host at Seminole, All City depends on volunteers to help make the meet happen! Each team has to provide a certain number of volunteers, and if you’ve been watching the All City Facebook page you’ll know that Seminole is in LAST PLACE for filling our volunteer spots!
We NEED All City Volunteers from Seminole to sign up ASAP! If you still need volunteer hours or are willing to help out above and beyond the requirement, then this is an awesome event to help at!
We still have 2 TIMER AND 11 CLERK OF COURSE POSITIONS TO FILL! Feel free to email me if you have never volunteered for these positions and need more details about what it emails.
Both timer spots are Saturday 7/29 from 12:30-5:30pm
Available Clerk of Course positions are:
Thursday 7/27:
- 7:00-12:30 (1 spot)
- 12:00-5:00 (2 spots)
Friday 7/28:
- 7:00-12:30 (3 spots)
- 12:00-5:00 (1 spot)
Saturday 7/29:
- 7:00-12:30 (1 spot)
- 12:00-5:00 (2 spots)

If you didn't get last weeks newsletter (you can find it here), the biggest things to know (besides our need of volunteers!) is that you need to order ground graphics by July 5th! You'll also notice premier parking spots are now available for purchase. Both the links are in the newsletter!
