What you Need to Know For Wed 7/31- All City Week!

Hello Sharks! 

First off, congrats to all our amazing Seminole Divers who participated in All City these past two days! Everyone did amazing and the whole Shark family is impressed and proud of our divers! What an amazing way to finish an amazing season! We hope to see all our divers at the end of season banquet this Saturday so we can recognize all your hard work this summer! 

Thank you to everyone that came out to the All City Happy Hour today! It was great to talk with everyone and get excited for the next few days! 

What's up for swim tomorrow (Wednesday):

Tomorrow is the LAST DAY OF PRACTICE of the summer! Coaches are ready to pump all the kids up so don't miss out! 

We also have our pasta hype party tomorrow at McKee Farms Park! 

  • This is where you will exchange your final swim buddy gifts! 
  • Coaches will be PIED! 
  • You can purchase water ballons (cash only) to throw at the coaches! 
  • We will also have a very limited amount of the coveted Seminole All City T-Shirts for sale! These will be CASH ONLY ($10) and will be first come first serve! 
  • Please keep an eye on your email tomorrow afternoon if any thing shifts due to weather! 

* If you have not recieved your All City shirt and you are swimming this week, I will bring the shirts to the pasta party! 

 

Thursday is the big day- our 11 & Up swimmers will take to the waters at Shorewood! 

  • Please check your emails for any updates from coaches about warmups, relays, etc! 

 

  • Now is the time to download the ALL CITY APP! This is going to make your life 100x easier, including providing you with info on who is being staged at what time! You will also be able to find the heat sheets and timelines for each session! I recommend downloading it today so you can check it out and not have to worry about any issues downloading it on site! ​

 

  • I'm sure many have been checking the weather and wondering what happens if we see storms during All City. We don't have a great answer for this and ask that you please keep an eye on the All City App for any updates/changes. I know Shorewood and all the officals will be working hard to make sure everyone swims, which may mean things get shifted last minute. We highly recommend you keep checking the app for any timeline changes. Remember that the timelines that are currently posted may change based on weather. We would hate for any of our swimmers to miss their events because things get shifted.

 

  • No morning practice for 9-10s and 8 & Unders on Thursday. There will be lanes avaialble for kids to practice on their own if they would like.

 

  • Our 8 & Unders will have relay practice Thursday from 6:30-7:30 pm at Seminole! Please let Coaches Noah/Ellie/and Mandy know if you cannot make it. While at the practice, I recommend parents connect with the other parents of their kiddos relay to arrange carpooling for Friday morning so that our IM relays are all set to go straight to clerk for the first events!​

 

  • Don't forget on Thursday (and Friday and Saturday) to head to the All City Facebook Page and vote for your Seminole Coaches in the coaches costume contest! Not biased, but our coaches always have the best ones! 

 

  • Have questions Thursday/Friday/Saturday? Please remember that all coaches will be attending all days/sessions of All City and will not be available via phone or email. Instead of trying to contact coaches, please reach out to you BOOSTER BUDDIES! We are here to help!
