It's ALL CITY BABY- What You Need to Know for Friday 8/2
Hello Sharks!
Congrats to our amazing 11 and Up swimmers that rocked it at All City today! We saw some absolutely incredible swims at Shorewood! It was so much fun to cheer everyone on!
Tomorrow (Friday), we see our younger sharks dive in! All 10 & Under swimmers will be at Shorewood for individual prelims and 8U relays!
Warm ups will be tomorrow morning at 6:30 at Seminole- swimmers who are swimming in the 8 & Under Medley relay need to go directly to Shorewood to clerk for the relay. Please ride with your relay or have a plan on how to connect at Shorewood to ensure your relay can clerk and swim!
JUNIOR COACHES- please make sure you have a way to be at Shorewood by 7:30AM tomorrow! You are welcome to come to warm ups but will need to make sure you have a ride to Shorewood!
There will be relay practice Friday @ 6:30pm at Seminole for all non 8 & Under swimmers!
* A note to parents- some have raised concerns about the depth of Shorewood at the blocks. Coach Andrew has been working with all the coaches on how best to work with the kids to help them prepare. Coaches will also be reminding swimmers each morning to jump out. As parents we can also remind our kids to be careful and jump out during their starts!
A Look to Saturday...
Saturday will consist of finals for all individual events, so those that made the top 20 in the prelims (congrats!). All 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15& ups will also be swimming their relays! Please check the timeline to know when your events will be!
Then once the Sharks are out of the pool, we will CELEBRATE! Come and enjoy the End fo Season banquet where we will all celebrate another incredible summer at Seminole! We'll hear from our coaches and watch the best end of season video put together by Brian Crounse and Sarah Terry-Rost. Bring your own dinner and chairs and sit back and soak up all the memories we made this summer! There will be cupcakes for swimmers!
