Meet Entries + High Point Invite Update

Andrew Cotton
Hey Sharks!

Below is some information on the entries for this weekend, as well as an update on the High Point invite.

Seminole v. Ridgewood Dual Meet

Entries

Relays

Heat Sheets will be shared when completed.

  • At this dual meet, a quick heads up to please refrain from talking to the officials and meet referees unless it is necessary. They are working hard to ensure the meet runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. If you have any questions about events, times, or anything else, please talk to the coaches first.

  • Coach Andrew will be out of town from June 20th to June 24th, which includes the Ridgewood Dual meet. While I am gone, you can reach out with questions, but please know I will not be able to respond as quickly as I normally do. I encourage you to reach out to Kathryn Kuehn and Genna Zenner, or Emma Neumann, who will be the coach in charge while I am out.
  • Finally, if you cannot make relays or something comes up, please let Emma know as soon as possible.

  • Clerk of Course:

    Reminder for Seminole Swimmers:

    • 8 and under and the 9-10 relays: please find your relay team and first and then come together to the clerk of course. Seminole swimmers clerk their relays in the splash pool.

    • 11-12 and 13o: please do not hang out in the clerk of course area. If you would like to wait for your heat in a space that is close to the starting blocks, a great place is in the grassy fenced-in area to the right of the clerk of course.

High Point Invite

High Point has sent out the meet file, and I have uploaded it to the website. Please go ahead and select your entries for the meet. If you left a note with your entries, I have already filled them out for you. We have ten spots left, so go ahead and sign up if you are interested. Finally, the entry deadline has been extended to Sunday, June 22nd. at 11:59 pm. Below is more information to know, as well as the meet flier. Some info is dated, but it is a good reminder for how the meet will run.

Meet Flier

1)  This is a meet for 14 & under swimmers only!

2) This meet is fun but completely optional and does not count towards the 3 meets needed to attend All City.

3)  There is a fee for participating in this meet that is separate from the team dues paid at the end of the season. High Point charges a $20 splash fee per swimmer and a $5 fee for coach expenses, making a total of a $25 fee PER SWIMMER.

4) If people would like to pay via check, they can leave a check in the DeWald Folder in the Breezeway. Please make this check payable to Seminole Boosters and include your child/children's names on the check.

5) Checks are due by July 1st. If the team does not receive payment by that date, then families will be charged via TeamUnify and the 3% credit card fee will be applied.

6) If you are no longer interested in attending this invite, please remove your swimmer so that others can sign up!

Go Sharks!
