Below is the info for the meet tomorrow! Also, please stay clear of the baby pool area, that is for 13 and ups only. Also, final call to sign up for Sunset relays! Info is below. Additionally, please bring in your Swimathon donation forms to the meet so we can figure out who the winning athletes/groups are! Finally, bring your vintage SEM clothes for the clothing sale tomorrow.
 
8 and Under and Shark Bite families
For Medley relays, coaches will be starting to gather swimmers at 7:40 am. Our goal is to get everyone ready and in clerk of course, by 7:50 am. If you could please assist us with this process, the coaching staff would greatly appreciate it. Coaches will be gathering swimmers around the baby pool area.
 
Final Home Meet against Shorewood Information

  • Heat Sheets will not be sold, but will be around the pool and available via QR code. QR codes will be around the pool as well. 

  • This meet will be a long one. It is predicted that the meet will be completed a little before 2 pm. Please make sure to plan accordingly. The coaches recommend staying in the shade, bringing plenty of snacks, drinking lots of water and wearing plenty of sunscreen. 

  • Location: Seminole Pool-5948 Schumann Dr, Fitchburg, WI 53711

  • Meet Start: 8 am 

  • Warm-Ups: 

  • 8 and unders/Shark Bites: 7-7:15 am

  • 9-10's: 7:15-7:30 am 

  • 11-12's: 7:30-7:40 am

  • 13 and ups: 7:40-7:50 am 

Team Cheer: 7:50 am by the shallow end

Theme: Dress up like a shark!

 

*Important Disclaimer*-Parent Relays

*Because this is the last home meet, we will be having coaches' relays and parents' relays. Y'all are more than welcome to participate if y'all are interested. These relays will take place at the end of the meet after the 15-18 free relays. If you are interested, please let me know. Lastly, I wanted to give everyone a heads-up on our 15-18 relays and our seniors for the meet. Since this is the seniors' last meet at Seminole, we always give them the option to swim an event with a friend by splitting their race up, if they want to, i.e., they swim a 50 fly and another senior swims the other 50 fly. Finally, for our 15-18 Free relays, it is a tradition that our swimmers dress up and swim with stuff from our lost and found. Please know that this is only for our 15-18 swimmers.*

 

Master's Relays

If you reached out to me about doing Master's relays, please report to the coaches' area by the 15-18 Free relays so we can get our relay teams together. I have five people interested so anyone who has not let me know, feel free to show up at this time!

 

Sunset Relays (13 and ups only and masters swimmers)

Meet Description: 

This is a fun relay meet that is only for 13 and ups swimmers and is at Shorewood this year. Entry is $1, please bring it to Coach Andrew at practice. When signing up, please select the only event available. This will not be swum at the meet, but is put in as a placeholder so that I can enter swimmers in relays. This meet does not count as one of the three dual meets for All-City. Due to the meet being later than normal, we will not have 13 and up practice the following morning on Tuesday, July 15th. Please sign up! We have a smaller group size than Hill Farm and Shorewood, so the more people we can have compete, the better! This meet is a ton of fun! Let me know if you have any questions! 

Masters Swimmers! We are having relays for y'all again! Please let us know if you are interested, and we will sign you up!
