Volunteers Needed for USA  Swimming National Championship!

Help Make History in Madison – We Need YOU!

Dear MAC Families, Swimmers, Swim Friends, and Participants,

We need your help! Over 280 volunteer positions must be filled to successfully host the USA Swimming Futures Championships, held July 23–26 at the UW-Madison Soderholm Family Aquatic Center.

This is a truly historic event — the first USA Swimming National-Level Championship in Madison, and the first in Wisconsin in over 40 years! MAC was asked last-minute to host this prestigious meet to prevent its cancellation or relocation. Now, we’re calling on our swim community to step up and help make it happen!

 

 

Why We Need Volunteers

This incredible event will welcome:

  • 🏊‍♂️ Nearly 800 of the nation’s top athletes
     

  • 🧑‍🏫 Over 175 coaches & 50+ officials
     

  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Thousands of spectators from across the country
     

We’ve been working tirelessly to prepare, but we can’t do it without YOU.

 

 

Volunteer Roles Needed

Ages 12 & Over Welcome to Help With:

  • ⏱ Timers
     

  • 🍽 Hospitality Helpers (athletes, coaches, officials)
     

  • 🥤 Concessions Workers
     

  • 📝 Registration & Check-In Support
     

Adult Volunteers Needed For:

  • 🛡 Deck Marshals
     

  • 🧾 Time Trial Clerks
     

 

 

Who Can Help?

We are calling on:

  • Local LSC teams
     

  • Summer League swimmers & families
     

  • MAC families and friends
     

  • All supporters of the sport!
     

You do not need to be affiliated with MAC to volunteer. All are welcome and appreciated!
