The first week of practice is an assessment week. Swimmers will be placed into a practice group.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: The coaches determine the practice group based on ability and motivation, not age. Use the schedule with indicative levels in italics below as a guideline to determine your swimmers practice time, but it is coaches discretion and they may be moved to a different group. While the coaches will do their best to allocate appropriately during the first week, swimmers can move up or down to a Group that is best suited to support their improvement. Please respect the decisions of the coaches. 

 

Stingrays practice rain or shine. We only cancel for thunder, lightning or severe weather conditions. You will be notified via email. 

 

 

Afternoon Schedule

JUNIOR STINGRAYS ( Group I )   

M-W-F only  4:00pm-4:30pm    (Diving Well)

JUNIOR STINGRAYS ( Group II ) 

M-W-F only  4:30pm-5:00pm    (Diving Well) 

GROUP A: moving up from Junior Stingrays, new 8 & under

MON thru FRI    4:00pm - 4:30pm

GROUP B: experienced 8 & under (Returning) / new ages 9-10 

MON thru FRI    4:30pm - 5:15pm 

GROUP C: returning ages 9 & 10  / new ages 11 & up 

MON thru FRI    5:15pm - 6:15pm 

GROUP D: returning ages 11 & up

MON thru FRI    6:15pm - 7:30pm  

HIGH SCHOOL (Starting in May)

What to Bring to Swim Practice?

Please see below for required gear to bring to practice every day.  

  • SWIM SUIT
  • SWIM CAP (All swimmers with long hair will need one + Remember to bring an EXTRA cap, too)
  • GOGGLES (+ Remember to bring an EXTRA pair, too)
  • TOWEL
  • WATER BOTTLE
  • SUNSCREEN
  • WARM CLOTHES - Bring warm clothes both for before and after practice.
