Danielle Ogard
Co-Head Coach
With over 25 years of coaching experience, Coach Danielle brings passion, knowledge, and heart to the pool deck. She works with swimmers of all ages and levels, building strong technique, confidence, and a genuine love for the sport. Danielle is the founder of Somac Swim, a stroke technique school dedicated to helping swimmers move more efficiently, swim faster, and enjoy the process along the way.
Born in San Francisco and raised in Sonoma County, Danielle swam competitively with USA Swimming before continuing her career at Cal State Northridge. Over the years, she has coached every level of the sport — from learn-to-swim and recreational programs to USA Swimming and Masters teams. She is known for her encouraging, motivating coaching style and for creating a positive, supportive environment on the pool deck.
Danielle recently moved to Novato with her husband, Doug, and their two young daughters. Her oldest is five and eagerly looking forward to starting her first year of swim team — a full-circle moment that reflects Danielle’s lifelong passion for the sport.
Erin Salvo
Co-Head Coach, Director of the Tadpoles Program
Erin is a longtime swimmer and lives in Terra Linda with her husband and two children. She graduated from California State University, Chico and went on to work in Graphic Design for many years. She decided to take some time away from the workforce to spend time with her kids in 2014. As her children started getting older, she decided to revisit her love of swimming and became a swim instructor at AC Swim Club in 2019 and then joined the Waterdevils coaching staff in 2023.
Erin has loved coaching the Waterdevils these past couple of seasons! Both of her children are on the Waterdevils, and she is very excited to introduce them to the sport she loved so much growing up!

Outside of the pool, Rachele works at Tailscale, a networking and cybersecurity company, where she is the Director of Partnerships. She lives in Marinwood with her husband, Matt, and their two boys—both proud Waterdevils swimmers.
