Andrew is a sophomore at Grand Canyon University, studying Sports and Entertainment management with a minor in Athletic Coaching. Andrew was born and raised in the Seattle area, graduating from Lindbergh High School in 2022. Andrew has been swimming competitively since he was Seven years old. He swam for his neighborhood summer league team, Rolling Hills for 11 years, where he was elected as a Captain for the 2021 and 2022 season by his coaches and receiving the Moni Nelson Team Spirit Award in 2021.  Andrew joined his Highschool team as a freshman. He was elected Co-Captain, by his fellow swimmers on his high school team his senior year. As well as being awarded rookie of the year by his coaches in 2019, and Most Inspirational award in 2022.

Andrew has learned that being surrounded by a team that is Fun and will support you and cheer you on while also, holding you accountable as well as pushing you to be your best self, both in the pool and out of the pool, is important to a swim team. In his own words “My summer league team is where I learned important aspects of the sport and life while also making lifelong memories, and lifelong friends. I hope to share my enthusiasm and love of the sport. I hope to help them create similar memories as those I have made while swimming. I know how important it is to have a coach that cares about a swimmers success in the sport as well as being your friend, supporting you and creating a fun environment. I am Beyond excited to be a coach this summer and am ready to get to work, Go Pirates!”

Swim Coach - Caelee Truong

Caelee Truong is a first-year studying Biology at the University of Washington and graduated
from Lindbergh High last year. Inspired by her sister, Caelee began swimming lessons at a
young age. Yearning for more, she quickly joined a club swim team when she was 9. She
continued competitive swim until her senior year of high school, where she competed at the
state level all four years and broke school, league, and club records. Throughout her 10 years of
swimming, Caelee has made multiple memorable memories and friends around swimming.
Caelee no longer swims competitively but loves to be in the swimming community by coaching,
hoping to foster a welcoming and exciting environment.

Swim Coach - Cheyenne Bertch

I just finished my freshmen year at Washington State University, double majoring in wildlife ecology and political science, with hopes of going to Law School in the future. I grew up in the Renton area all my life and swam for majority of it too. I first joined a summer league, Rolling Hills, where I swam for 10 years. I then swam for a club team, and finished off swimming for my high school team, where I was nominated as captain to lead the team. Being a part of the swimming community, shaped who I was as a person, but joining a summer swim team created the love I have for the sport, and taught me so much about staying driven, passionate, and continuing to do what you love. I saw the value in having a coach that not only loved swimming, but also loved the swimmers they coached, and I can’t wait to do that for the swimmers this year. I am super excited to be coaching this summer, and instill a love and passion for swimming, like all my coaches did for me throughout the years!

Head Dive Coach - Daniel Marcano

My name is Daniel Marcano, and I've been coaching diving at Alpha Diving Club since 2021. My passion for the sport comes from my parents, Ilich Marcano, head of Alpha Diving and former Olympic coach for the Venezuelan team, and Alejandra Fuentes, a retired Olympic diver for Venezuela. Diving can be a bit intimidating, but my goal is to teach new generations in a safe and fun way. I'm excited to kick off my first season in the summer league and can't wait to help more people discover a love for diving.
