Pinetop Piranhas Assistant Coach

The Pinetop Piranhas Swim Team is seeking to fill 1-2 assistant coach positions for the Summer 2025 swim season. Contact [email protected] with your resume and relevant experience if you or someone you know are interested.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Swim background, preferred year round competitive swim program

  • At least 16 years old with dependable transportation

  • Meet manager computer software knowledge

  • USA swim rules fluency and/or Stroke and Turn Judge certification

  • Lifeguard certification

  • Experience coaching or working with small children

Required:

  • Must be available for both morning and afternoon practice times.

  • Must have flexibility to meet outside of practice for planning and meet entry sessions

  • Must be available for the entire swim season

  • Must coach during all 5 regular season meets

  • Must coach during all sessions of City Meet, July 10-12

Pinetop Piranhas Junior Coaches

Junior Coach positions are not paid, but they do provide swimmers with an opportunity to gain valuable experience and leadership.

Basic Requirements:

  • Be at least 13 years of age

  • Have swum before and have a good understanding of basic swimming technique

  • Have been on Pinetop Swim Team for at least one year (not required, but preferred)

  • Be able to commit to the time-commitment coaching for the entire Summer 2025 swim season

  • Be able to practice on a regular basis, either at the practices they are not helping coach or at a year-round team's practice
