Head Coach
Daniel Potts
Coach Daniel has been with the Pinetop Piranhas as Head Coach since 2024 and is the Head Age Group Coach for Greensboro Swim Association (GSA). Daniel brings over a decade of experience, having coached from age group to college. Coach Daniel joins us from Austin, Texas where he coached his swimmers to all levels of meets including Texas Age Group Championships. His swimmers have finished in the top 10 at age group championships. He has also coached at South Shore Sails and Sienna Premier Aquatics in Houston, TX.
Coach Daniel was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee and graduated from East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Communications with a Theatre Concentration. He is an avid hiker and nature enthusiast and resides in Greensboro.
