Important May Reminders

Hello Piranhas Families,

It’s hard to believe we’re already in May—swim season is right around the corner! Practice for the 2025 Pinetop Piranhas begins in just two weeks, and we’re thrilled to get things underway.

Here are a few important reminders:

 Early Bird Registration Deadline – Friday, May 9th

Don't forget—this Friday is the last day to register at the discounted early bird rate.

 Virtual Training for Stroke & Turn and Starter/Referee Officials

Tuesday, May 6th is the first of three virtual training sessions hosted by Greensboro CSA for those interested in becoming certified Stroke & Turn Judges or Starter/Referees. You need only attend one of the three trainings.
We must have certified volunteers in these roles in order to host swim meets—your participation is essential!

 Sponsorship Deadline – Also Friday, May 9th

To be featured on the team t-shirt, all sponsor commitments must be received by this Friday.
As a bonus, anyone who secures a $400+ sponsorship will receive one free swimmer registration!

 Junior Coach Applications Still Open

We're still accepting applications for Junior Coach positions! These are unpaid but offer valuable leadership and mentoring experience.
Applicants must be 13 years or older.

 Parent Meeting – Sunday, May 18th at 3:00 PM

Join us on the pool deck at Pinetop for an important parent meeting. You’ll meet our amazing coach, Daniel Potts, and get helpful information about the season, including meet schedules, volunteer needs, and more.
