π REMINDERS π
1. While we love seeing so many of you hanging poolside on Fridays for practice, and we welcome help with setup, only those signed up for official volunteer shifts will receive credit. We print nametags before the shift date, so please ensure you are officially signed up before then to receive your badge of honor (and your shift credit).
2. One of our swim parents has kindly provided an "age group parent briefing" on Saturday morning. If you are doing this job this weekend β or plan to in the future β please be sure to attend these briefings. Please please please be sure to show up for your shift on time. Someone once said, "If you are not 5 minutes early to a meeting, you are late."
3. If you happen to grab someone else's swim stuff, please make sure to return it to the office or the club's lost and found
4. Timers and stroke and turn folks: Please attend the pre-meet briefing, even if you are volunteering for the second shift.

4. REMINDER TO REGISTER FOR THE SWIM SEASON
If you haven't already, please register for the upcoming season ASAP. The clock is ticking. You have until June 15 β the FINAL FINAL day to register at Rio del Oro and NCSL.
P.S. If your swimmer is hoping to qualify for Champs, they must swim in at least two league meets ... and be registered to swim with Rio del Oro and NCSL.
5. PARENT VOLUNTEERS: A FEW REMINDERS
We sincerely appreciate your time and commitment to supporting our program. As a reminder, when you sign up for a volunteer shift, it is essential that you either fulfill that commitment or arrange for a reliable replacement if you are unable to attend.
Please note the following policy:
- If you do not show up for a scheduled shift or secure a replacement, you will incur a $50 no-show fee.
- Additionally, you will not receive shift credit for any missed, unfilled shifts.
This policy ensures that all shifts are staffed adequately and that the workload is shared fairly among our community.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
6. HELPFUL INFORMATION TO SURVIVE A SWIM MEET
Whether this will be your first away swim meet or your 42nd, this HELPFUL INFORMATION TO SURVIVE A SWIM MEET is full of gold. Gold, Jerry. Gold. Scroll past the schedule to see the complete "guide."
PRO TIP: Write down your kids' times and post them in a prominent location in the house. They're a great motivator in the early season as swimmers get into shape and practice better technique. Get ready to watch those times drop.
7. MEET MOBILE
According to the app description, Meet Mobile "transforms the swim meet experience for fans, swimmers, coaches and meet hosts alike. From the largest national qualifying trials in the country to the smallest swim meets, get access to meet programs from all over the world, including heat sheets, psych sheets and real-time results ..."
