Picture Day & Barracudas Buddy Day Info
Swimmer’s love sharpies!
Please make sure you are writing your swimmer’s event numbers on their hands or arms before swim meets. Or you can write it on paper for them to write when they arrive at meets. We don’t have enough coaches to check in swimmers and write their event numbers on their hands. We will have extra event lists on hand at every meet but pack a few sharpies in your swimmer’s bag. Meet Results
Common question on Saturday morning was how do I view my swimmer’s results? You can view live results during a swim meet by using MeetMobile. Please note this app does require a subscription:

Usually within a few days after a meet, official results are posted in the Sports Engine Motion App. Our time trial results are posted there now (thank you amazing Barracudas computer team). View results in the app under Event & Jobs > Meet Results. If you are in the Barracudas website while logged in, select Events & Competitions > Meet Results
Meet Photos
Barracudas own Suzy Sharp is once again capturing photos of our Barracudas during meets. Here is a link to view the photos and if you would like to share photos you took on Saturday, you can use the upload link. All uploaded photos will show up in the same gallery as her photos in chronological order. The easiest way to upload and view on your phone is to download the free SmugMug app. All high resolution photos can be downloaded for free. From your computer you can just visit the site. If you make an account, the gallery link and password will be saved and you can view the photos whenever. Thank you Suzy for snapping these awesome photos!

Picture day
Picture Day will be this Tuesday, June 10. There will be no practices on picture day, only pictures, buddies, and donuts! All swimmers should plan to be there Tuesday from 8am - 10am.
Swimmers should wear team suits if they have them. Forms were handed out at practice on Friday and there are extra in the guard station if needed. We have confirmed with the photographer, a swimmer does not need a form filled out in order to receive an individual picture. Please note the prices on the form are cheaper than when the gallery is available online for purchasing. You are welcome to request individual photos and if there are siblings, you can also have a sibling picture taken.
Team picture will start lining up right at 8am. Please consider dropping off/parking in the neighborhood south of the pool and walking through the path on Millcreek Ct. With that many swimmers attending at the same time the lot will fill up extremely fast, so accessing the pool from the south will help make sure pictures run on time.
Barracudas Buddies
Each swimmer is assigned a big or little Barracudas buddy for the season. This is a wonderful Barracudas tradition for our older swimmers to be role models. For our younger swimmers to have someone to look up to and a familiar friendly face at swim events. Barracudas buddies will be announced on picture day. Buddies will then meet to complete a swimmer bio sheet as a way to get to know each other better.
Typically buddies will make each other a poster for the first home dual meet and the posters will be hung up on the fence surrounding the pool Some ideas for posters include: buddy's names, cheering and encouraging messages, candy taped to the poster, etc. We will send out additional suggestions before each home meet with the theme, but some other ideas may include: cheering on your big/little buddy at swim meets, bringing your buddy's favorite candy to swim meets, making a special card or friendship bracelet for your buddy, etc. These suggestions apply to home meets only.
