Announcer 
Announces all general information and swim events at meets over the PA system. Organizes singer/recording and announces the Star Spangled Banner. (Requires a brief training session.)

Bullpen - this job starts 15 minutes prior to the start of a meet
Overlooks all aspects of swimmer line-up for events. After job check-in, reports to the Clerk of Course parent chair for assignments. Breaks will be assigned by parent chair.

Concessions - the 1st shift of concessions jobs starts one (1) hour prior to the start of the meeting to setup concessions
Sells food and beverages to our home and visiting teams at our concessions stand. First shift includes setup (must arrive one hour prior to the start of the meet) and second shift includes clean-up (at the conclusion of the meet).

Concessions (Grill)
Manage the grill and preparation of specific food items. Must be comfortable with cooking on the grill to sign up for this position. First shift includes setup and second shift includes clean-up.

Concessions - Shopper 1 - this job happens before the meet
Pick up bulk food orders and deliver to meets. Requires: vehicle space, fridge/freezer and a large purchase to personal credit card but a quick reimbursement via Zelle. Reports to and shops as directed by the Concessions parent chair.

Concessions - Shopper 2 - this happens the day of the meet
Pick up bulk food orders and deliver to meets. Requires: vehicle space, fridge/freezer and a large purchase to personal credit card but a quick reimbursement via Zelle. Reports to and shops as directed by the Concessions parent chair.

General / Floater
On call to work any job. Please expect to work any aspect of the meet.

Heat Winners
Carefully watch event finishes to hand out heat winner cards to 12-and-under swimmers. Must be on deck for every event during the meet.

Marshal (Pool Deck) - this job starts 15 minutes prior to the start of a meet
Stationed on each side of the pool deck to ensure only coaches, swimmers, meet officials and meet workers enter deck area. No parents or spectators are allow to enter the pool deck area.

Meet Set-Up and Take-Down - this job starts 90 minutes prior to the start of a meet
Assist with the setup of ropes, stanchions, bleachers, tents, starter, podium, bullpen, flags, lane lines before the meet. Assist with takedown and put away items after the meet. Workers are free during the meet.

Official – Referee - requires Officials training and significant meet experience
Run the meet events, update event counter, lead pre-meet Official’s meeting, judge starts/turns, ensure on-time start and meet runs on schedule.

Official – Back-Up - requires Officials training
Back up to the officials and fills in for breaks.

Official – Starter - requires Officials training and significant meet experience
Works the light/buzzer to start events.

Official – Stroke - requires Officials training
Watches swimmers for stroke violations.

Official – Turn - requires Officials training
Watches swimmers for stroke/turn violations.

Parking Lot Attendant / Hospitality - this job starts 90 minutes prior to the start of the meet
The parking lot attendant job starts 90 minutes prior to the start of the meet. The parking lot attendant prohibits vehicle entry into parking lot. Only Bucs Parking Lot Sponsors are allowed entry into the parking lot (and up to two available handicap parking spots). At the start if the swim meet, report to concessions to start the hospitality job for the remainder of the meet. Hospitality serves snacks and water to Coaches, Timers, Scoring and Officials periodically throughout the meet.

Runner
Collect timing sheets and DQ cards from officials and deliver to scoring office. After job check-in, report Scoring Office.

Scoring
Assists in entering/checking times as they are received by the meet software. Report to the scoring office at the start of the meet.

Timer - must attend timers meeting 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the meet
Stands at an assigned lane and uses a stopwatch to record swimmers' times for each heat for every event. After job check-in, report to the Head Timer and must attend timers meeting that's held about 15-20 minutes prior to the start of a swim meet.

Timer (Relief) - must attend timers meeting 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the meet
Will routinely rotate in to relieve timers for breaks. After job check-in, report to the Head Timer and must attend timers meeting that's held about 15-20 minutes prior to the start of a swim meet.

Timer (Backup) - must attend timers meeting 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the meet
Stands at an assigned lane and uses a stopwatch to record swimmers' times for each heat for every event (as backup). After job check-in, report to the Head Timer and must attend timers meeting that's held about 15-20 minutes prior to the start of a swim meet.
