​Welcome to McLean Marlins Swim Team!

The Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL) was founded in 1956 to sponsor competitive swimming and diving in and among the community swimming pools in that area of Northern Virginia contiguous to the District of Columbia, and to develop the children participating in this program- a love for the sport, advanced aquatic skills, teamwork, and the principles of good sportsmanship.

The success of NVSL and the Marlins is dependent on the volunteer support of many swimmers’ parents and friends. There are 102 teams in 17 Divisions in the NVSL. 

​For the new swimmers, welcome to the Marlins family.  We look forward to another fun-filled, yet competitive, summer swim season.  The season goes by quickly so be ready for some new fun this summer.

You must have a membership with McLean Swim and Tennis Association to be eligible to join the Marlins and Future Marlins.  All MSTA member youth ages 6-18 are encouraged and invited to join the McLean Marlins.

** This is a short, intense, fun-filled 8 weeks. Please consider delaying family vacations until the end of the season. **

Tuesday/Thursday | **Tuesday/Thursday evening practices are available for swim team members not participating in AM practice. This is not a make-up opportunity.  All Swimmers 6:00 - 7:15 PM | PRE - REGISTRAITION IS REQUIRED.
