MONDAY (B) MEET INFO

• All Marlins are encouraged to swim in B meets. They are held on Monday evenings, beginning promptly at 6:00 pm (warm-ups beginning at 5:00 or 5:30 pm) and are usually done by 8:30 pm/9:30 pm

• Each Monday, the Marlins will swim against another NVSL team. This is not a competitive meet against the other team for points; however, each swimmer gets a chance to compete against other swimmers. This allows swimmers to develop their technique and comfort in competition.

• On Monday, Marlins may choose to swim one to two strokes and/or individual medley (IM).
• If a swimmer swims a stroke on Saturday, that swimmer may not swim it on a Monday night event.
• There are no technical suits that will be allowed on a Monday night event. 

​MEET PROCEDURES

• Warm ups begin at 5:00 PM for the home team and 5:30 PM for the visiting team.
• ​Swimmers should sign up for events in TeamUnify by Monday at practice.  As a last resort, B meet entries may be done on the pool deck Monday night but only with extenuating circumstances.

​​MISCELLANEOUS

• ​Ribbons are awarded to every swimmer. Swimmer ribbons represent the place received among the Marlins team. 
• ​Ribbons will be placed in the Family folder on Tuesday.
