The Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL) was established in 1956 to promote competitive swimming and diving at community pools in Northern Virginia near Washington, D.C. Our mission is to cultivate a love for the sport, enhance aquatic skills, foster teamwork, and instill good sportsmanship. 

The Marlins is a developmental and competitive swim team that involves the entire family through engaging social activities. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced swimmer, everyone is welcome. To join the Marlins and Future Marlins, membership with the McLean Swim and Tennis Association (MSTA) is required.
