2025 Swim Team Coaches
Angela Maciukiewicz ([email protected])
Angela is returning for her 8th season (2024) as Head Coach at PHSC. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and Sport Studies from the Univesity of Evansville where she was also a member and 2-year Captain of the Women's Division 1 Swim Team. She has a Master's Degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Sports Management. Angela started swimming as a 6 & under with summer teams, then started year-round swimming at 10 years old in KY. She swam 4 years of high school for Anderson HS in Cincinnati and for M.E.Lyons/Anderson Barracudas YMCA team; she was a member of the National Championship team all 4 years, both Spring and Summer team, who were National Champs both Spring and Summer seasons for all 4 years. Angela worked for a local non-for-profit for 18+ years in aquatic programming/safety and members-services before starting her own safety training business (CPR, First Aid & Babysitter Safety) in 2020. Angela was rasied in an Army family from Texas, moving many times, landing in OH for high school before moving for college in IN and graduate school in KY; she has lived in Springboro since 2010 with her husband, three kiddos, and three dogs. Angela also has a twin sister who coaches in Lebanon, OH. In addition to coaching at PHSC, she is a owns a safety training business, she coaches for Coffman YMCA in the winter and she is a substitute teacher at a preschool and with Springboro City Schools.

Coach Grace
I am going into my senior year at Ohio University studying Health & Physical Education with a minor in coachingI have been at Pleasant Hill since I was five and a year round swimming since fourth grade. Last summer I was in Ocean City, New Jersey on a summer mission trip with Cru. It was a great summer but I am SO glad to be back on the pool deck this summer!! I am also a manager this summer so you will definitely see me around:) Looking forward to a great summer!
Coach Maddie
This will be my 5th summer coaching for Pleasant hill, although I have been a junior coach for many years before starting to officially coach. I was a competitive swimmer for 6 years, and I have always held swimming very close to my heart. I enjoy sharing the love of swimming with the kids, and helping them improve throughout the summer. I’m so excited for another great season!
Coach Georgia
I coach the 7 and 8 year old group here at Pleasant Hill. This will be my 4th year as an assistant coach and 3rd year with the 7 and 8s. I have been swimming at PHSC since I was 3 years old so this will be my 15th season swimming on the team. Along with that I swam club for around 6 years. I have also helped junior coach in the years before I started coaching. Along with swimming the last three years at Fairmont High School I’ve participated in their basketball and volleyball programs and I hope to continue with basketball through my last year at the high school. I love the aspect of a team because of the family type bond you make with the people around you. I am so excited to get to foster this kind of relationship throughout this season. But I believe the most important part of this season is to try hard and have TONS of fun!!
Coach Maggie
This will be my second year as an assistant coach at pleasant hill! I have been swimming at PHSC since I was 3 so this will be my 14th season swimming at PHSC!! I helped junior coach prior for a couple of years. I used to be a competitive swimmer but then I had switched from swimming to basketball, but I still deeply enjoy swimming!! This past school year I had participated in basketball at centerville high school and am planning on continuing my efforts in basketball my next school year as well as participating in the early childhood education program at centerville! While I’ve been on this team, I have made many lifelong friendships and shared many joyous memories! I am looking forward to this season and can’t wait to continue making more positive memories!!
Coach Ben
Coach Ben, is a new assistant coach this year. He previously swam and coached at Five Seasons and is excited to step into a new coaching role at Pleasant Hill. He is looking forward to seeing his swimmers succeed at practices and meets. It's going to be a great season, Go Fighting Fish. Ben is also a student at UD studying Engineering.
Coach Ryan
This will be my 3rd year as a swim coach. I have coached 7-8's and 9-10's and have been swimming at Pleasant Hill since I was 8 years old. I will be a junior at Archbishop Carroll High School, and I play men's volleyball year round and am a manager for girls volleyball. When i'm older I would like to be a coach for boys volleyball. Swimming for PHSC has connected me with so many people who l now consider my family. I hope this season will bring fun times and many more memories for our swimmers.
Coach Joseph
I’ve swam at PHSC for 10 years, was a junior coach for 2 years, and this is my 2 year as an assistant coach. I’ve swam for 2 years at the high school and one with the sharks. In my free time I like to cycle, run, read and mostly hang out with my friends. I’ve been part of the Centerville XC team for 4 years and I enjoy running with my friends. I look forward to another great year of coaching.
Coach Jeffrey
Hi, I’m Jeffrey Frank, I’m 17 and I’ve been swimming for over ten years now, both on club and summer swim teams and I can’t wait to have a great season! Outside of the pool I’m passionate about communications (video/picture editing) and sports media, and spending time with my friends and family! My favorite swimming memory is getting to swim in St. Petersburg Fl. for the ISCA Summer Senior Blast long course meet, which is a bunch of fun and a really fast meet. A fun fact about me is that my favorite song to listen to before I swim is anything by Gorillaz
I will be a senior at Oakwood High School. I coached at 5 Seasons last year and I’m so excited for this first year dive team at PHSC!
I’m going into my senior year at Oakwood high school! I have been diving since freshman year and have gone to the state meet each year. I am super excited to meet you all and have a fun season of summer diving!
