| Team Representatives The running of the swim team is the responsibility of parent volunteers, particularly the Team Representative, who is elected by the team membership at the banquet in odd-years for a 2-year term. The “Team Rep” also serves as a non-voting ex-officio member of the Pool Board. The team Rep appoints a parent advisory committee reflective of the diversity of the team membership to help advise on policy and operations. A subset of the advisory committee participates in hiring coaches and overseeing their performance. Rep responsibilities include: hiring and managing coaching staff, assign and manage the volunteers, organize the home meets and social activities, provide weekly communication via email to parents, provide support for coaches, manage parent concerns, and host the year-end and Senior Banquets.

Introducing our Future A-Reps We are so excited to announce Ingrid Lund and Jenny Blasdell have stepped up and volunteered to train as our future A-Reps! Megan will be stepping down after this season, but will make sure to pass on lots of Gator knowledge and make sure they are fully ready to take the helm next summer. As the season progresses, expect Ingrid and Jenny to be more visible on deck for A-meets and related activities. Thank you, Jenny and Ingrid, for volunteering and for your support of our Gators! |
