General Information

The Tilden Woods Swim Team is a community swim team that welcomes all kids ages four to eighteen to join us in fun, friends, and fast swimming during the summer months.  The team embodies all of the aspects of a community swim team:  Dedication, Teamwork, Spirit, and Friendship.  Swimmers focus on learning and being the best swimmer they can be.  Outside the water, we have team activities that build a lifelong camaraderie among its members.  We are one of over 90 teams in the Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL).  For Summer 2025, we will be splashing into Division H.

Swim practices begin the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Swim meets begin in mid-June and continue until the end of July. (Please see the calendar for exact meet dates.) Many other team events happen throughout the season such as Friday Fun with the Coaches, Pep Rallies, Talent Show, Pasta Potluck, and even a team Lock-In at the pool! Oh, and we "dress up" for all of our meets. Check the Calendar or Events page for more details.

Registration for TWST opens on March 1st. The registration fee for 2025 will be $205 per swimmer. Also, please keep in mind that per MCSL eligibility rules, swim team members must be a member of the pool where they compete.  So please make sure to register and pay your pool membership dues as well. If you are a new swimmer to TW, but swam previously for another MCSL team, please contact one of our Swim Team Reps and fill out the Team Transfer Application Form found HERE.
