We are an eight-week summer swim and dive team that is part of the St Louis Mnicipal Swim & Dive League. Practices begin the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Our season consists of 5 dual meets and a conference finals meet. For more information on our practice schedule, please go to the Calendar tab.
How do I join the Kirkwood Riptides Swim and Dive Team?
All potential KSDT members attend a swim and/or dive evaluation. Assessments are held April 5th, 2025 at Kirkwood High School's Walker Natatorium. The sign up link is now open and available here:
https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094AADAC28A4F9C61-54747164-kirkwood#/
The skills assessment will be held from 12:00-2:30 PM.
If your child successfully meets the requirements at assessments, they will be able to register for the team during the registration dates; online registration for new swimmers who passed assessment and have been offered a spot on the team will be open from April 14, 2025 until April 25, 2025.
Passing the assessment does NOT mean that your child has a spot on the team--available spaces will be determined by a lottery if there are more eligible swimmers than spots. Everyone who attended will receive a message in the days following assessments to confirm the recommendation and be informed as to whether or not they are eligible to register or if they are waitlisted.
If an age division is full, those swimmers and/or divers meeting the requirements of their age group are placed on a waitlist for the following year and will not need to be re-assessed should a spot open up.
Our Swim Season is scheduled to start May 27th and run through July 18th.
2025 KSDT Fees:
$155 ($185 NR) for Swim or Dive only; $185 ($215 NR) for both
*A $5 discount will be given for each additional child from the same family*
Each age group has limited space. We do our best to include as many kids a possible but can't guarantee everyone will have a spot on the team.
Registration for returning team members opens on March 3, 2025.
