Coaches are asking both parents and swimmers not to engage coaches in chit chat during practice time. Although it's fun to hang out with the coaches, it also distracts them from focusing on the other swimmers in the pool.
You have to 'sign up' for every event including Time Trials. Click on the 'Events & Jobs' tab and 'Attend Event' for those meets you will be attending. If you don't sign up for a meet, your swimmer won't be entered in any events for that meet.
Earn the full 30 volunteer points as a Stroke & Turn Judge. You will only need to judge FOUR (4!) meets, so this is a great way to get your volunteer points done in as few meets as possible. Spring practice starts in 10 days. See you at the pool beginning Monday April 30th! Check the website under Calendar for your age group times and don't forget to bring a friend.
Spirit wear orders from the Fiesta dinner will be available at the info table the 1st week of practice. Size kits and spirit wear inventory will also be available at the info table.
The Stingrays are more than just swimming, we're about fun! If you have a friend interested in swimming, bring them to the first week of practice to get a taste of what its like to be a Stingray. There will be paperwork so the friend will need to bring a parent or guardian. If they sign up for the team, you will receive $25 Stingray Bucks! See you April 30th!
A Stroke & Turn Clinic will be held at the Hercules Swim Center on Saturday, April 28th from 8:30am - 11:30am.
