| The Briarhill Barracudas Swim Team is a recreational summer swim team built on fun, teamwork, and a love of the sport. Our goal is to help swimmers grow both in and out of the pool through good sportsmanship, hard work, and positive encouragement—while emphasizing character, team unity, and family involvement. Swim team is a wonderful way for families to enjoy summer together. Swimmers spend their days outside building friendships and confidence, and parents connect just as easily along the way. We group swimmers by age to support skill development, foster friendships, and create a supportive and inclusive team environment that’s enjoyable for the whole family. Our season runs from mid-May through mid-July. Practices are held Monday through Friday in the evenings until school ends, then transition to morning practices once summer begins. Meets take place on Saturday mornings. Briarhill is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization led by an elected Board of Directors. Families are encouraged to get involved through team activities, events, and fundraisers—our community is what makes the team special. All swimmers are asked to commit to participating in at least three dual meets and Championship meets during the 2026 season. Have questions?
