Volunteering Agreement

WORK DEPOSIT FEE:

As an organization run exclusively on “Parent Power,” Briarhill Swim Team depends entirely on its members to host and run our swim meets and fulfill a variety of administrative tasks that enable the team to run smoothly.

A successful swim team requires the participation of the majority of all families at every swim meet.  To ensure this we require each family to post a work deposit at the beginning of each season in the amount of $450.00 per family.  This amount will be fully refunded at the end of the season if your family has fulfilled their obligation of either (a) One Whole Season Management position, or (b) a minimum of 14-16 Meet/Events Job Points; AND one fireworks booth shift AND one Championship Shift.  You are to sign up for at least 14 meet/team event job points when the job sign-up begins.  The final job points requirement will be determined after all registration is completed and will be based on the number of families registered.

If you cannot meet this level of commitment, the team is offering you the option of paying the work fee to be excused from helping or providing assistance at swim meets.

Your registration will not be complete until your work deposit check has been received or you have paid the opt-out fee.

Volunteer Work fee for 2025 is $450.00 per family. If you are not intending to volunteer you should select to pay the additional $450.00 during this registration.

If you are going to Volunteer during the season be sure to mail your Work Deposit Check made out to: Briarhill Swim Team, and mail to:

Briarhill Swim Team, 6937 Village Parkway #2728, Dublin, CA 94568

*Please place your swimmer's name on the check.
