Swim Team Registration Dates & Fees 2025
Registration Opens: Saturday, February 1st (Friday January 31st at midnight)
$50 Late Registration Fee Applies: Friday, February 23rd
Registration Closes for the Season: Monday, March 10th
First Day of Practice: Monday, April 7th
Dewing Park Seahorse Swim Team
1st and 2nd Swimmers (ages 4-14): $425 ($350 per swimmer due plus $75 fundraising fee)
3rd Swimmer: $400 ($325 per swimmer due plus $75 fundraising fee)
4th + Swimmer: $375 ($300 per swimmer due plus $75 fundraising fee)
All 15/18 Swimmers: $400 ($325 per swimmer due plus $75 fundraising fee)
Fundraising Requirement/Dewathon Update for 2025: After receiving feedback from families and reviewing Dewathon participation the past few years, the management committee has decided to replace the Dewathon with other fun events! The $75 required fundraising fee per swimmer will now be added to your registration fee (as noted above). These events will have fundraising components where families can choose their level of participation (think wine pull!). We anticipate this change to create additional fun opportunities for our Seahorses to gather while supporting our team's fundraising goals.
Swim team families who have a swimmer between the ages of 4 and 14 will have obligation (job) requirements to fulfill during the season. Obligation requirements are per family, not per swimmer. Please see our Obligations page for more information.
Families of swimmers must be members of the Dewing Park Swim Club. There are several options for families including a Splash Fee, Rental Membership, and Buy-in. Please visit the Dewing Park Swim Club page for more information on options and costs.
Sea Pony Program
Sea Pony Swimmer: $425
Sea Ponies do not have fundraising requirements. Families who only have Sea Ponies (no regular swim team swimmers) do not have obligation requirements. Our Sea Pony program is open to members and renters of the Dewing Park Swim club. If space permits it will be opened up to non-members.
